XV Downtown Sailing Week – Racing started with qualifications
The XV International Helsinki Downtown Regatta started in sunny Liuskasaari with two days of qualifications for the Optimist fleet.
The conditions in Helsinki were sunny with 5-7 m/s winds. After six races Robert Matt (EST 374) leads with Lily-Sofie Latvala (FIN 1141) in second place and Sisu Seliö (FIN 1180) third. We’re looking forward to the final two days with the wind expected to pick up and races getting tighter in the Gold and Silver fleets.
