TRY OUT DAY 13.5.

Join us for an exciting Open Island day on May 13th, 2023, where you can explore the beautiful Liuskasaari Island and enjoy its fantastic amenities. During the event, you will have the opportunity to try sailing and enjoy the services of the island’s restaurants.
Here’s the program for the day:
1. Arrival check-in and handing out of life vests
2. Quick introduction about HSS, the sailing and windsurfing centre, and the island, followed by a short theory and safety session where the coach goes through the basics of sailing.
3. Participants will be taken to the waters, where they will sail in a group under the guidance of experienced sailors. You will have the chance to experiment with sail trimming and boat steering.

You can choose to participate in either the 12:00 or 14:00 slot, but please note that we cannot guarantee your preferred time slot. The event includes an introduction, safety and theory session, and hands-on sailing on the water.

Join us at HSS in Liuskasaari, and take the ferry from Merisatamanranta to get to the island. We have RS Touras sailboats available to try, but please note that you must be over 15 years old to participate.
