Register for boat inspection online!

All boats on the club’s boat register must be inspected by the end of June.

The purpose of the inspection, carried out by volunteer inspectors, is to help the boat owner and skipper to ensure the safety of the boat in different conditions according to the inspection class. The survey is a prerequisite for keeping a berth in the HSS marina. This also improves the safety of neighbouring boats.

In 2025, inspectors will also check the validity of the boat insurance. Download your boat’s insurance certificate from your insurance company’s online service or order it before the survey. You can present your insurance certificate to the inspector on your mobile phone screen or on paper.

For the safety of the port, we also request that boats use a proper mooring rope instead of an anchor line for buoy mooring. The breaking strength of anchor rope deteriorates over time as it is exposed to the sun’s UV rays and is therefore more suitable for temporary use rather than permanent harbour use.

We also recommend installing a carbon monoxide detector on boats with an inboard engine, fuel-fired heater, or other possible carbon monoxide source.

Download the Inspection Code 2025 from the SPV website (PDF) and read our inspection guidelines.

This season you can pre-register for the inspection online!
