Member categories and applications

Our club uses the Suomi Sport service for the management of everyday activities, and membership applications are submitted through Suomi Sport. With a Sport account, you can:

  1. Register for events and competitions: Participation in club events and competitions requires a Suomi Sport account. The account is used for registration and payment processing.
  2. Manage your membership: The Suomi Sport account enables the management of membership not only in HSS but also in different clubs. It facilitates the updating and maintenance of member information.
  3. Data security and privacy: By creating an account, you can control your security settings and ensure your privacy within the Suomi Sport service.

Creating a Suomi Sport account requires providing your personal identification number for the following reasons:

  1. Authentication: The personal identification number serves as part of user identification, ensuring that the account is associated with the correct individual.
  2. Data integration: The personal identification number helps integrate various pieces of information, such as memberships in different clubs and participation in events, into one user profile.
  3. System security: The use of the personal identification number is part of system security, ensuring that information is processed reliably and the user’s identity can be verified.

The club does not have access to your personal identification number. It is only used by Suomi Sport to identify you and ensure that each user has only one Suomi Sport account.
