HSS selected as a Roope Harbour

The PSS Roope port inspection took place on Wednesday 20 May 2026. The company was represented at the inspection by Port Master Marko Kantola.

The Roope Harbour is a recognition awarded by the Keep the Archipelago Tidy (PSS) Association to marinas that operate responsibly. The programme assesses, among other things, the harbour’s waste management, safety, environmental issues, and its general cleanliness and functionality.

As the port of Roope, HSS is committed to developing the port in the long term in a more environmentally friendly and responsible direction. This is reflected, for example, in new hazardous waste containers, improvements to waste management, and practices relating to port safety and amenity.
