Champagne Regatta – What a Weekend
What a weekend, as I was called in RO from BSF for the HSS Champagne Regatta for Classic boats 8mR, 6mR, 5m and Hai. The conditions on Saturday were harsh, but on Sunday perfect with 7-9m/s SW and a blue sky with a great swell. The elegant 8mR were gliding forcefully through the water with the rest of the fleet tailing them in front of HSS Liuskasaari, fantastic! Thank you to all the volunteers for your excellent work and to the team at HSS for good cooperation and event management and finally to the sailors for fair fighting.
