What is sailing league ?
”The sailing league is a competition series between clubs that consists of two or three competitions, of which the best clubs continue to the finals. The races are sailed on sporty J70 boats. The races are short Fleet-race type fast-paced races, the duration of which, depending on the weather conditions, is about 10-15 minutes. Team changes and possible protests are handled immediately on the water. After the third competition, it will be clear who is the best club in Finland.
The key thing in the Sailing League is that the clubs compete against each other as teams. When the main focus is on clubs, and not so much on individual sailors, this opens up new opportunities for other enthusiasts of the sport to participate in competitive activities.”
How can you train towards the sailing league in SWC and represent HSS ?
You can book into out regular training classes where the whole programme is geared up towards fleet racing and J70 class ( with Black group regularly training in J70
You can register in our self training option where you can train individually with your own team in a J70 ( skippers rights required)
You can book our private lessons and train in the j70 with a proffesional coach.
