HSS 133 Years Champagne Regatta – Baltic Classic Masters
We are pleased to announce the 16th Champagne Regatta, with Taittinger Champagne as our title sponsor. Racing will begin just outside HSS Liuskasaari, offering a distinctive regatta experience.
HSS welcomes all sailors and yacht clubs to the event on 22–23 August 2025, and we look forward to reuniting Finnish and Swedish sailors.
Racing on the 22nd will be followed by the traditional Champagne Dinner and Party at the HSS Pavilion Restaurant, alongside the 5 Metre and Friends BYOB Party. The full social programme will be announced shortly.
The International 5.5m Class will hold its Nationals during the regatta.
We aim to exceed our previous record of 126 entries. The regatta is open to int5m, 5.5m, 6mR, 8mR, Dragon, Starand Hai classes, racing on a windward–leeward course. The archipelago race is open to all Skerry Cruisers, A‑boats,H‑boats, Folkboats, S&S & Swan yachts, and Baltic Classic Masters boats (for vessels built before 1974). The Champagne Regatta forms part of the Baltic Classic Masters series, alongside the Sandhamn Classic and the Airisto Classic.
All participating boats will berth at the HSS marina.
There will be two to three races per day. The first warning signal for all classes on Saturday 22nd and Sunday 23rd is at 10:50. Please refer to the Notice of Race below.
