Record Number of Registrations for the Champagne Regatta a Month Before the Event
HSS’s major regatta in August, 24-25.8, looks set to follow last year’s success. The number of participants may exceed last year’s 93 boats. Modern classics such as H-boats, S&S, and Swans will also participate this year.
We are happy to see that the regatta is attracting a record number of HSS’s own boats. Volunteers are also participating in greater numbers than before. Guests of honor include Spirit of Helsinki and Galiana WithSecure, who will sail the archipelago course along with other S&S boats, Swans, A- and H-boats, Archipelago Cruisers, and Baltic Classic Masters boats.
This year, we especially hope to attract beginners, with the aim of developing the regatta into an event where everyone can participate, regardless of previous racing experience. You can participate in:
- Traditional course racing in classic classes outside Liuskasaari.
- Archipelago course, with start and finish outside Liuskasaari.

At the HSS Pavilion party, DJ Borzin will play this year, and in the West shed, Leevi Tuukkanen/Guilty Pleasures will perform. Book your place for the party in good time, as everything will soon be sold out.
