New Year’s greetings from Lanzarote!

The year 2024 has started energetically at the training camp in Lanzarote. The place is familiar to us, as this is already our fourth winter here. Over the years, Lanzarote has become one of our favorite places to sail, and this year we are particularly excited about the training here because the long winter training period culminates in the World Championships held in early March. The World Championships mark the beginning of a new competition period that extends until the European Championships in May. The first competition streak of the year includes, in addition to prestigious championships, the traditional Palma Trofeo Princessa Sofia regatta, and our second main race of the season, the Last Chance Regatta in Hyères. In April, the competition in Hyères will determine the last spots for the Olympics, so we are putting all our efforts into it, hoping for a good result to continue the journey to the Olympic waters of Marseille. The year 2024 is special because the Olympics will take place in late summer, where our current project is intended to culminate.
