Sports Committee
The HSS Sport Committee is responsible for the management of the HSS coaching and competition activities. This means that it is the decision-making body for racing and coaching matters, but under the authority of the HSS Board of Directors. The Sport Committee would include representatives from the Sailing and Windsurfing Centre (SWC), junior, classic and open water sailing and would be chaired by the Sport Commodore responsible for racing and coaching. Additional members may join the committee as required, but they must have a strong knowledge of sailing as a sport. Minutes of meetings will be publicly available to all HSS members, unless there is a specific reason not to do so (pending negotiations, etc.).
